Computer Center
Location: Examination Block, Ground Floor
A Computer Centre plays a crucial role in supporting the institution academic and administrative activities. Computer Centre is responsible for providing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and computing equipment, necessary to support the college academic and administrative activities. It provides access to computer labs, software tools, and online resources necessary to support the teaching and learning activities of the college. The Computer Centre plays a critical role in supporting research activities by providing access to high-performance computing resources, data storage, and data management tools. It implements and maintains security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against cyber threats.
Software Engineering & Programming Lab
Location: Room No 209 First Floor, IT Block
The Software Engineering and Programming Lab is well equipped with the latest hardware and software. It serves as a training ground for software developers to learn the best practices in software engineering, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance, and then apply these practices to real-world programming projects. It involves the use of various software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, to ensure that software projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the desired functionality. The use of Rational Rose in a software engineering lab can help students to develop practical skills in software modelling and design, which are essential for building high-quality software systems. It can also help to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing a hands-on approach to software engineering.
Data Structure & DBMS Lab
