Since its inception in 1998 as IGIT, IGDTUW has embarked on an extraordinary journey, evolving into a beacon of womens empowerment. Being an integral part of this esteemed edifice of learning and enlightenment fills me with profound pride and newfound privilege. The innate brilliance of women as managers, adept at utilizing resources with remarkable efficiency and effectiveness, is undeniable. Since its establishment by the Government of NCT of Delhi in May 2013, IGDTUW has been at the forefront of promoting studies, research, technology, innovation, incubation, and extension work in emerging areas of professional education among women.
Our university is not only dedicated to high-quality teaching but is also a hub for cutting-edge research, development, and innovation. Our departments are engaged in numerous sponsored research projects in collaboration with leading industries and organizations. Our incubation center, Anveshan, provides young women engineers with ample opportunities to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
