It is indeed a special privilege and pleasure to welcome you as Dean Academics of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. We are the pioneer government university that looks at the development of a nation through the lens of women empowerment. IGDTUW is a powerhouse of brilliant young minds and it is this aura of learning and growth that makes it a centre for exhibition and innovation in all fields of engineering, management and scientific studies.

Presently, our university provides graduate, post-graduate and research programs in a multitude of streams, all at par with the latest technology standards. We cultivate an environment specially catered to not just prepare students for the industrial, corporate, commercial and academia world, but to excel in these and related fields. This enables Indian women to become much more than future leaders, it helps them turn into wholesome beings, no matter what they choose to become in life.

Additionally, it has always been our key focus to nurture entrepreneurial and research skills along with holistic development of our students with the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) and this is evident from all the student-led societies that conduct a plethora of activities, workshops, webinars and competitions in which students participate and contribute with great fervour.

The university has many collaborations with the corporate world (as we proudly exhibit our placement rates), renowned national and International Universities, research firms, etc. and we aspire for more such opportunities in the future.

On a closing note, I invite you to explore the various programs offered by our University. I am very sure all my students will carve out a niche for themselves and make the university proud.
With that, wishing you all the best for all your future endeavours!

Dean (Academic Affairs)
